If men were fighting machines as they were first introduced in their daily lives, through production processes, in the 19th century, they are now embracing them and in fact could not live a single day without them. With an education in both Fine Arts and Engineering, Benjamin is fascinated by the hidden world of machines and mechanics.

For him, the true artists are those engineers who invent and create living and connected things that contribute to improve the comfort of human beings to a level that no one could have dreamed of a hundred years ago. People usually do not seek to understand how things can fly, roll, cut or aspire, and how geniuses in the shadow provide these with superpowers. That is where Benjamin’s work come into play, to reveal the beauty of what we consider as granted.
