Born and raised in Paris, Béopé discovered the graffiti in the mid-80s. Operating under the radar of established artistic institutions through the years, he privileged a local approach to promote his art, working with festivals, retail shops, and sometimes for municipalities, close to his base near Nevers in France.

His style is very graphic, inspired by lettering and calligraphy. Beside frescas and interior decoration, he notably works on rusted metallic panels which he engraves through a natural process that could take up to two years. Since 2010, Béopé developed an original concept combining video and graffiti, allowing to virtually paint outdoor withing leaving a mark!
