Bandai's Saint Seiya Vintage action figures, produced between 1986 and 1989, constitute the first Saint Seiya toys. The details of the metallic and plastic armor together with the numerous articulations of the figures have contributed to its reputation.

Released in various countries across the globe, including Japan, Argentina, France and Spain, they are extremely sought after by collectors who often grew up with the anime, especially when they are in neat condition. New editions were released from 2002 and continue to be produced these days, though the classic collectors would naturally go toward the original Vintage editions.
