Zabou (1990) | French | Street art

Established in London, French street artist Zabou has gained recognition beyond its country of adoptionin 2013-2014, being invited to realize murals and participate to exhibitions in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and France. An anti-conformist, she plays with stereotypes while seeking to reveal a satirical vision of the world we live in.

Her rising popularity brought the attention of the organizers of Limassol's 2014 TEDx, where she gave a key note speech about the evolution of street art, the involvement of women in that art, and the benefits street art can have on communities. In London, her work can be seen in various places in the East End, where most of the graffiti scene takes place.
